AL: Threat with bat gets aggressive guy shot: "50-year old Robert Brown was shot in the chest just after seven this morning and later died at Baptist Hospital. Police say the victim and a 28-year old male suspect were fighting but later parted ways. When the suspect came back this morning to apologize, police say Brown attempted to attack him with an aluminum bat. That's when the suspect pulled out a gun and shot Brown in the chest. Right now, police say they are looking for that 28-year old shooting suspect. There's no warrant out for him since the shooting could have happened in self defense. Authorities say that they just want to ask him a few questions to find out more about what happened."

CO: Make My Day shooter cleared in home invasion: "It was clear from the get-go that the shooting of Daniel Deleon at a South Williams Street home had all the earmarks of a Make My Day case, à la the incident in which Filberto Alderete was cleared in the killing of the death of Jesus Sifuentes Jr. And now it's official. The homeowner in question has been exonerated, while alleged Deleon accomplices Zachery Montoya and Francine Segura face multiple felony counts."
